I International Scientific-practical Conference

On 24.06.2022, the 1st International Scientific-practical Conference on "Modern Aspects of Sports Science" dedicated to the International Olympic Day was organized by the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sports in Baku.

The main goal of the conference was the joint discussion of the latest scientific achievements in the development of sports and the exchange of experience. At the opening of the conference, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Farhad Hajiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis, Chairman of the Parliament Youth and Sports Committee Adil Aliyev, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade, Chairman of the Science and Education Committee of the Milli Majlis Bakhtiyar Aliyev spoke.

In addition to prominent experts in the field of physical education and sports of our Republic, famous professors from the University College London (UCL), Imperial College London, Wolverhampton University, Turkey's Eskişehir Technical University, Russia's MGIMO, Lomonosov Moscow State University, leading experts of Austria's ComplexCore organization took part in the conference. 

After the opening part, the conference continued with reports on topical issues of sports psychology, sports medicine, sports management and sports law.
The conference was concluded on 25.06.2022 at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sports with presentations and discussions in the sections "Improving the training system of athletes", "Formation of mass and healthy lifestyle in physical education" and "Organization of physical education and sports activities".
